YNHH offers temporary hotel accommodations for staff

Yale New Haven Hospital and Yale Medicine are making accommodations available at the New Haven Hotel, 229 George St., for asymptomatic healthcare workers, physicians and physician residents in high-demand areas or roles. The accommodations are for those whose combined work schedules and commutes require them to be close to the hospital for overnight stays or rest breaks between shifts.  

YNHH will pay only for stays approved by employees’ department/service line executive directors or above. For details on how to submit a request, visit the YNHH employee intranet. The program is not for quarantine purposes; employees must be asymptomatic or COVID-negative.
