Patients

Reach out to your doctor or healthcare facility if you have an upcoming appointment for latest information on hours of operation and visitor restrictions. Many offices are now offering telemedicine services during this time. We want to make sure you receive the care you need, when you need it.

If you think you have COVID-19 symptoms, call your doctor or healthcare facility before visiting.

Patient Care Updates

Saint Raphael Campus Maternity Patients

Yale New Haven Hospital is committed to providing the safest possible care to our patients and staff throughout the COVID-19 crisis. All obstetric care has been consolidated to our York Street Campus. Effective April 9, patients scheduled to deliver at our Saint Raphael’s Campus Vidone Birth Center should go to our York Street Campus and check in at admissions by entering through the Children’s Hospital entrance at 1 Park Street, New Haven. Valet parking is available 24 hours a day at this location. You will receive one complimentary valet stay following your delivery. Click here for other paid parking options.

Visitors

The well-being of our patients and staff is our top priority. At this time, patients are not permitted visitors at Yale New Haven Health hospitals, ambulatory and outpatient sites and clinics.

Exceptions to this policy may be made for neonatal ICU (NICU), pediatric, obstetric and psychiatric units as well as for extenuating circumstances, including those receiving end-of-life care.

We continue to monitor the situation. The visitation restrictions will be amended when appropriate.

Face Coverings

In light of new evidence, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends wearing face coverings in public settings. To the extent possible, patients and visitors are encouraged to bring and wear their own face masks when visiting our facilities. More information on wearing and making face masks can be found on the CDC website.
