Take these steps to protect yourself and the community from COVID-19
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention notes that masking is a critical public health tool for preventing the spread of COVID-19. Masking is encouraged in crowded areas and for anyone who thinks they may have COVID-19.
Get vaccinated to protect against COVID-19. COVID-19 vaccination is especially important for people who may be more likely to get very sick from COVID-19, such as older adults and people with certain medical conditions. Learn more about the vaccine and current eligibility requirements
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing. Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are unavailable.
Refrain from touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
