Dr. Sabina Lim of Hamden appointed executive director of Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital

4/7/2011 — Sabina Lim, MD, MPH, of Hamden, has been named executive director of Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital (YNHPH). Dr. Lim has worked in psychiatry at Yale New Haven since 2005. Dr. Lim was the associate medical director of YNHPH since 2009 and acting administrative director since 2010. She is an assistant professor of psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine.

Dr. Lim, who is board-certified in psychiatry, earned her BS from the University of Michigan, her Master's in Public Health from Columbia University, and her medical degree from State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine. She completed her psychiatry residency at Yale New Haven Hospital and served as chief resident. She became the residency site training director for the Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital and the associate residency program director for the department of psychiatry. She was also an attending psychiatrist on the adolescent inpatient unit of YNHPH.
