Theresa Zinck-Lederer was born and raised in Connecticut. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University and master’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy and Administration from the Yale University School of Epidemiology & Public Health.
She completed her administrative fellowship training which included supporting hospital quality improvement projects. One such project involved the evaluation of first case start times in the operating rooms. She also supported strategic planning and marketing initiatives. In the latter part of the fellowship, Zinck-Lederer worked with the medical staff and administrative leadership to establish a Yale New Haven Hospital medical staff independent physician group.
Zinck-Lederer has continued her career at Yale New Haven Hospital and, subsequently, Yale New Haven Health to support the administrative processes related to physicians, the medical staff and each of the health system’s Chief Medical Officers. Her current focus is on the standardization of operations and foundational documents including privileging and credentialing, medical staff bylaws and medical staff policies.
Outside of her professional role, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family and her Yorkshire terrier, walking and going to the beach
