Exercise Program Managagement
Under HSEEP, exercise program management involves five phases, which are collectively known as the exercise cycle. Exercises executed in accordance with the phases of the exercise cycle lead to tangible preparedness improvements and provide participants with valuable opportunities to practice organizational or jurisdictional response functions.
The five phases of the exercise cycle are as follows:
- Foundation
- Design and Development
- Conduct
- Evaluation
- Improvement Planning
