The Yale New Haven Health System Center for Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Response (YNHHS-CEPDR) assists organizations in the development of emergency preparedness, response and recovery plans annexes, policies and procedures that support operational requirements and are consistent with national and international accreditation standards and state and federal funding requirements. Organizational and facility planning are based on in-depth research of best practices and standards for organizational or facility-based response, with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare and emergency management professionals. YNHHS-CEPDR has developed comprehensive response and recovery plans for state and local agencies and supported the development of regional healthcare coalitions at the sub-state level. YNHHS-CEPDR has also collaborated with federal agencies to integrate state and local plans into national planning efforts. YNHHS-CEPDR is familiar with the requirements of funding available for the development of health and medical response and recovery plans.
