Yale New Haven Center for Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Response is committed to developing and delivering services that advance healthcare planning, preparedness and response for emergency events and disasters through collaborative partnerships and coordinated programs within Connecticut, across the nation and around the world.
With domestic and international partners ranging from the Connecticut Department of Public Health, the federal Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to the American Medical Association, The Joint Commission, the Pan American Health Organization, USNORTHCOM, hospitals, healthcare delivery organizations and public health agencies, the Center delivers the following programs and services:
