New London, CT (January 5, 2017) – Denise Fiore has been named interim chief operating officer of L+M Healthcare. Fiore began her career at Yale New Haven Hospital in 1978 as a medical technologist in the Department of Laboratory Medicine. Over the proceeding nearly 40 years, she excelled moving into more challenging and larger roles with the hospital.
Most recently, in her role as the vice president of Clinical Services at Yale New Haven Hospital, Fiore was responsible for the strategic development, operational activities, clinical quality and financial results for Radiology and Biomedical Imaging, Laboratory Medicine, Respiratory Care, Patient Transport and Ambulatory Medical Centers and Clinics.
Fiore is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She serves on the Board of the Connecticut Association of Healthcare Executives, Quinnipiac University’s Health Affairs Board of Fellows and their Center for Women and Business Advisory Council, as well as on the Board of the International Festival of Arts and Ideas in New Haven.
Fiore earned a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from Quinnipiac University in 1978, graduating with the distinction of Cum Laude. She earned a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in health care management from Quinnipiac University in 1991. She is a resident of Clinton, CT.
